My name is Jacqueline Mendes, and I am the Head of Department for the Primary School at Verney College, where I have been proudly teaching since 2006. With over 25 years of experience in education, I currently teach Grade 1 and 2 learners, specializing in the foundation phase.
I hold a Bachelor of Education degree in Foundation Phase and am also certified in First Aid Level 1. I am deeply passionate about nurturing young minds, and my greatest joy comes from helping children grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence. Teaching is more than a career; it is a calling that continues to inspire me every day.
