Penelope Fahy, a dedicated educator and administrator at Verney College since 2009, brings her rich background in accounting and her passion for teaching to the classroom. She teaches English HL and Afrikaans FAL to Grades 4–7, inspiring young learners with care and enthusiasm.
Born and raised in Linmeyer, Johannesburg South, Penelope Robyn Fahy attended Highveld Primary and matriculated from The Hill High School. She began her career in bookkeeping and accounting, gaining experience across diverse industries before joining Verney College in 2009 as an accounting and admin assistant. Inspired by her husband, she completed her Bachelor of Education (Senior and FET phase) in 2020 and began teaching. Although qualified for high school, she has found her calling with younger learners, currently teaching Afrikaans FAL to Grades 4 and 5 and English HL to Grades 4–7. Outside the classroom, Penelope enjoys yoga, walking, cooking, reading, and crocheting.
