Raché van Zyl has been teaching at our school since May 2017. With qualifications in Afrikaans and education, she currently teaches Afrikaans to Grades 6–9 and 11, and supports Grade 12. She also teaches Natural Sciences and is involved in athletics and netball.
Raché van Zyl joined our school in May 2017 and brings a strong passion for Afrikaans. She holds a B. Inf. BA Hons. in Afrikaans and a PGCE from RAU. Over the years, Raché has taught Afrikaans from Grade 1 to Grade 10 and Natural Sciences in Grades 4 and 5. Currently, she teaches Afrikaans to Grades 6, 7, 8, 9, and 11, while assisting with Grade 12 classes. Beyond the classroom, Raché contributes to athletics and netball programs and has supported the school library. Her personal interests include reading, music, and animals, which enrich her connection with students and the school community.
